Minister of Industry Meets with Korean Minister of Trade

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef met with Minister of Trade, Industry and Resources of the Republic of Korea Kim Jung Kwan at the ministry’s headquarters.
The meeting underscored the strength of the economic relationship between the Kingdom and the Republic of Korea, as well as the importance of building on the strategic partnership between the two countries. Both sides emphasized the need to enhance bilateral trade and expand cooperation across priority industrial sectors to support sustainable economic growth and advance shared development objectives.
The discussions addressed opportunities for collaboration in advanced manufacturing and industrial transformation, including the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and AI applications to improve industrial efficiency and competitiveness.
The two sides also examined prospects for collaboration in mineral processing technologies and the exchange of expertise in geological research through the Future Minerals Forum to enhance sustainability, security, and efficiency of global mineral supply chains.
