An official delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is participating in the 20th session of the General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), which is held at the organization’s headquarters in Vienna between November 27 and December 1.
The conference will be discussing several important issues related to industrial development, including the role of industry in achieving sustainable development goals, promoting innovation and digital transformation in the industrial sector, and reviewing a number of major initiatives implemented by the Kingdom within the national transformation plan and the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030 in various promising economic sectors.
On the sidelines of the general conference, the Kingdom participates in a Saudi pavilion comprising several government agencies, including the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, Saudi Fund for Development, Saudi Tourism Authority and Center for Government Communication.
