Bajaj Housing Finance shares trade flat amid broader market sell-off on Nifty Next 50 inclusion

Shares of Bajaj Housing Finance Ltd surged to an intraday high of Rs 114.98 per share on the NSE, up 1.26 percent. However, later it pared the gains and traded under selling pressure at Rs 113.45 at around 2:10 PM.

Bajaj Housing Finance shares traded flat in Monday’s trading session on Nifty Next 50 inclusion, as part of the latest NSE rejig announced on Friday, February 21.


The shares of Bajaj Housing Finance Ltd surged to an intraday high of Rs 114.98 per share on the NSE, up 1.26 percent. However, later it pared the gains and traded under selling pressure at Rs 113.45 at around 2:10 PM.

Along with Bajaj Housing Finance, Swiggy, and Hyundai Motor India, Indian Hotels and CG Power will also be included in the Nifty Next 50 index starting from March 28.

Bajaj Housing Finance shares had a strong stock market debut in September, listing at Rs 150 per share on both NSE and BSE, reflecting a 114 percent premium over the IPO issue price.

The Rs 6,560-crore initial public offering (IPO) of Bajaj Housing Finance saw an overwhelming response last week, with total subscriptions reaching Rs 3.23 lakh crore.
